The performer shows a small steel thumb cuff and explains that they were the first design to be used by detectives and undercover police, due to their small size which meant they
were easy to carry and conceal. The Thumb Cuffs can even be placed on to a volunteer to prove how difficult they are to escape from. The cuffs are now placed onto the performer, whose hands are then hidden out of view behind a jacket, cloth, cabinet etc. The performer now proceeds to escape and re-enter the cuffs at a moment’s notice.
