The
Small Club
AN
ENTERTAINING ROUTINE SURROUNDING YOUR UNCLE HENRY AND HIS INVOLVEMENT WITH A
COMPUTER DATING AGENCY CALLED THE SMALL CLUB.
Having
told the story of your Uncle Henry wishing to get married and his membership of
the SMALL Club ( a computer dating agency called the Shy Men And Lonely Ladies
Club) you show his photograph and membership card. A gentleman from your audience is asked to make his choice of
partner from six photographs of compatible women by selecting one of the numbers
on the backs of the photographs. The
gentleman selects one of the photographs, the ones he did not select are shown
to him and found to be very attractive young females.
The photograph selected is revealed and found to be exactly the same
partner Uncle Henry selected - a lady who is most certainly ‘one in a
million’.
Complete
with specially produced photographs, wallet, membership card, full routine
and of course Uncle Henry.

Blow Me A kiss
SOMETHING
UNUSUAL IN CARD TRICKS, AN EFFECT CREATED ESPECIALLY FOR THE LADIES BUT
APPRECIATED BY BOTH SEXES IN THIS ENTERTAINING ROUTINE.
A
lady is asked to mention a card that she feels she has an affinity with.
That card is withdrawn from the deck and given to the lady to hold.
The deck is replaced in the card case and the lady requested to push her
card back into the deck to lose it. She
is asked if she is any good at blowing kisses and after a rehearsal she blows a
kiss towards the card case. The
case falls onto the table and a card is seen to appear in the magician’s hand.
It is the chosen card and what is more, it has a lipstick impression of a
pair of lips imprinted on the face of the card.

forest having a picnic. Complete
with specially printed plastic cards, wallet and routine.

It’s
A Tarot Mystery…
…why
you picked it.
Six
face down tarot cards are shown to the spectator. The spectator freely selects a card and places it face down
on the table. The remaining cards
are all shown to have the same tarot design on their faces.
When
the spectator turns his card over it is seen to have a different tarot design
from the others.

It's A Snapper
A wooden dowel stick with a ‘hooked end’ is inserted into a ‘wooden tube’ which has a rubber band running through the closed end of it. The idea is to hook the dowel stick on to the rubber band and cause it to snap back inside the tube. It seems totally impossible for the spectator to achieve this simple operation, even after the performer has demonstrated it. Probably the finest quality 'snapper' you will find!

It's A Mystery
...........why you picked it!
Six face up cards are shown to the spectator. The spectator freely selects a card and places it face up on the table. The remaining cards are all shown to have the same colour backs. When the spectator turns his card over it is seen to have a different colour back from the others.

Released
Three playing cards, each having a small hole in the centre, are fastened together with a paper-fastener. They are shown, fanned, then squared and turned face-down. One card is pulled away, free of the other two, then all three are dropped on to the table or a spectator’s hand for rigid examination. There is no way one could have come free of the paper-fastener, yet there it is separate in the hands of the spectator.

Astral Logic
AN EXPERIMENT AUTHORISED BY THE INSTITUTE OF CO-OPERATIVE RESEARCH INTO ASTRAL PHENOMENOLOGY!
Performer shows ten face down plastic cards from the Institute of Co-operative Research into Astral Phenomenology. Five are given to a spectator. Both the spectator and the performer select a card behind their backs. Their selections match under seemingly impossible odds. Spectators may think that all the cards are identical. When the remaining eight cards are turned over they are seen to all have mirror faces - proving that it is nothing to do with Astral Phenomenology, just that well known magical principle 'All done with mirrors'! Well made effect using screen-printed plastic cards. With many storylines possible.
£10.00
It's Spoo-key Plus
A mortice key is placed on the hand which is held flat in front of you, palm-upwards. After a few moments the key turns over spookily.
After demonstrating the Spoo-key you ask a spectator if you can place the key on their hand. The old gag about 'The Clean Hand' can be used. Having asked the spectator to place their other hand on top of the key you know ask them to press their hands together firmly to prevent the key turning. When you request that they open their hands the key is found to have magically bent.
This effect goes back a number of years but rarely do you see it performed these days. Also, the balance of the key has been tremendously improved and the bent key climax takes the routine a stage further.

It's Just a CON-venience
This has a unique slant on a very old trick. Michael Shepherd came up with the idea of using toilet door signs for a ‘compass type’ routine, Ken De Courcy routined the effect and Travis Perkins did his bit!! Ideal size for carrying in jacket pocket.
It’s easy to perform and your audiences will find it very entertaining.

The Artifact
YES IT’S THE OLD IMP BOTTLE – BUT AN EXCEPTIONAL VERSION SUITABLE FOR MANY UNUSUAL AND HUMOROUS STORYLINES
From a small bag the Artifact is removed. You display and explain that the Artifact is a small hand turned wooden bottle with a stopper. To a suitable storyline you show the English penny set into the base of the bottle, and explain how the bottle can be made to rest on its side. Having removed the stopper ask the spectator to empty the invisible contents of bottle on to your hand. The spectator is asked to make sure bottle is completely empty before they replace the stopper. When the spectator is asked to repeat your previous actions and rest the bottle on its side the bottle always returns to its upright position – no matter what the spectator does the bottle will always stand upright.
