All the effects in this section are part of the Castle Premier Range and are constructed from quality materials, and hand finished and decorated to a high standard.

Each effect is exclusive and produced in limited quantity.

Skating Gilbert

Why does Gilbert go to school on his skate board? So he can skate along to the sweet shop without being seen by the teacher. Only the audience witness the 'comings and goings' of Gilbert skating between the school and the sweet shop. When they think they know exactly where Gilbert is hiding, the school and sweet shop are shown to be empty and Gilbert is nowhere to be found. Upon checking the hospital Gilbert is discovered with his arm in a sling, a bandaged head and leg, and generally a little worse for wear. Some magic words from the audience soon have Gilbert fit and back on his skateboard.

Charlie and the Cannon

Charlie the clown offers to help at the circus by volunteering to be shot out of the cannon. The cannon is displayed along with Charlie. Charlie is taken and placed into the mouth of the cannon. Unfortunately Charlie is too big for the cannon and his head has to stick out of the end of it. A brightly coloured tent with a net hanging from it is shown. Fearless Charlie is shot out of the cannon - he flies around the room so quickly you can hardly see him - before being caught in the net.

Pete's Pizzas

Pete the pizza delivery boy is introduced. Pete's display of wonderful pizzas are shown. He is asked to deliver some pizzas to the castle - but just which door should he open. The pizzas go 'walkabout' and are lost. Pete thinks he has found the pizzas but he's wrong. All is well at the end when a jumbo pizza is found.

The Golden Orb

A CASTLE MAGICAL SERVICES EXCLUSIVE EFFECT PRODUCED IN LIMITED QUANTITY

(OK so it’s Block Cord with a ball, but the plots and storylines are endless – due to its shape and colour!)

A golden orb, fastened to a piece of cord, is removed from a bag.  A spectator is asked to remove the orb from the cord.  Cord and orb are examined.  The cord is tied around the orb leaving the orb secured to the cord. 

The performer holds one end of the cord in his hand and places his foot on the other end, on the floor, and effortlessly removes the orb from the cord.

The orb could be removed by the performer whilst two spectators hold the ends of the cord.

Marmaduke Mouse and the Haunted Cheese Factory

The colourful haunted cheese factory is shown. The front door is opened and Marmaduke Mouse is seen inside. Marmaduke is removed and the door closed. To suitable patter Marmaduke vanishes and a ghost appears. The friendly ghost vanishes without trace - but what of poor Marmaduke? A large chunk of cheese appears in the cheese factory and out of the cheese appears Marmaduke.

A spooky looking house is displayed. Gilbert the schoolboy is shown looking round the spooky house. A large friendly ghost keeps popping out of the house roof. Gilbert investigates and finds another large 'bossy' ghost. The friendly ghost helps Gilbert to grow bigger, so he is larger than the 'bossy' ghost.

Finally the friendly ghost and Gilbert shrink the 'bossy' ghost to half its size.

Courtney the Clown is shown in his circus tent. He is placed inside his caravan (a blue one). Courtney is seen to move from his caravan to another one (a red one). A lot of business and by-play as he keeps moving from one caravan to the other. Sometimes he pops out from the side of the red caravan. Having replaced Courtney back in his blue caravan, after a little more activity you can open the front and back doors of both caravans to show that Courtney has vanished. Returning to the circus tent you open the front to show Courtney back there ready for his next show.
